to chase away gloomy days

i've started working on bethany's pregnacy photo shoot.  bethany is gorge.  sometimes i can't believe how gorge she is.

this first one is an atmosphere shot with amy and shawn in the background along with the airplane.

 uhhh babilicious.

i love this one.
lots more to come!

mahabubs at the park continued

these mahabub pics were fun to take.  i don't have a lot of practice of taking pics of families with young kids so it was a good kind of challenge for me too.  another challenge was how sunny it was that day.  we were expecting an overcast day but instead i had some shadows to deal with.  the outcome is definitely not one of those perfect polished family photos type thing, but i kind of like it.  i can also say i had a lot of hilarious faces and cute faces to work with.

maya and elijah are so super cute!

if you look really hard you can see elijah in the shadow of erin's leg...

this pose is pretty funny to me.  what was i thinking?

my favourite part about this pic is maya's face.  a person could eat that face.
runaways...
his eyes are like glass in this shot.  if you enlarge it you can see my dark shape and fatima's legs.
 faces....
oh boy.  these ones make me laugh.  i think this is maya's surprised face and i think elijah was in the midst of devouring erin.
this could have been her 'mad' face, i'm not sure.  whatever it is, i think it's pretty funny.

 ha!

 kickin' it in the grass
eating leaves like a good baby should.

with the shadows of the leaves it looks like he has a leaf cap on.

i love this one:

these last ones were the first ones i was not dealing with the hat shadow.  next time no hat mo!

the end!

archie has lost his collar again.  he lost it when we first moved in here.  i found it behind the couch but let him run around naked until after edith left for her married lady adventure on the african continent.  this time i don't know where his retro green collar is.  here he is caputured during one of his hopeful, and on the most part peaceful demonstrations rallying for food.  his thought process might be a little like this: " if i place myself right in front of her and look as cute as possible and purr, perhaps occasionally place my paw gently on her face, she might get the hint and feed me."
promised pictures of my home.  i know i went a little crazy with the annotations.  shrug.
