heather and duncan making sure the set up was just right.

gramma's ashes were laid to rest by her gramma's ashes in the fraserview cemetery at fraser and 33rd.

mr. macdonald piped in the ashes with the great grans walking behind, a great granddaughter bearing the ashes.

the piper was excellent and everyone agreed that it was exactly the right thing.

the urn was passed from person to person.

it was a sunset kind of urn the only thing that could have made it more Gramma B-ish was if it had seagulls in flight.

auntie heather read "Early Morning Reflections" written by gramma herself.

more piping.

uncle duncan laid her remains in their final resting spot.

uncle les with his balloon, which he held tightly to rather than pollute.

the children were fascinated with the grave.

  1. I love these pictures. I love looking at all your pictures, 'l'bee. That one of mary and jane is stunning. And I love the ones with the great grans following the piper. You also got some good ones of Kevin. But I love them all.
