bif-bliss

i spent some time in williams lake visiting my sis over the july long weekend last year.  i did a photo shoot and it's time to share.  for me there was a kind of special magic in shooting my little sister and her beautiful family.  she's got a handsome hub and two gorgeous babes, but to me, maybe because i love her so much, she is the magic heart of her family. the light and the joy and the everything around which everything else ebbs and flows.  i see her.  i see the way she's blossomed in grace and beauty in her family.  it's hard to put into words, so let's see if i can put it into pictures.

first there was filup-philemon-the bird.

ok.  now is the real start.

we were waiting for ben and ducked under the balcony to get out of the sprinkling rain.

i love these two. (pics and people)

the hill top.  brace yourself--there are many.  shrug.  it's my blog so i can do what i want.  :)

(pssst.  the boys are those lumps in the grass)

 a family that runs together...

the dip that shocked us all:

this hike-up mid air makes me laugh

mr. blue eyes in the car after some tears.

  2. Bethany looks so much like your mom, especially in the first shots of just her and the kids. I like the chain link fence ones - once I saw those I thought Piggy back ones would look good with those two. Then there they were! The Blundstone Shoe wall series is hipster. Sunday morning ones are lovely - great family shots. LOVE the one of Angus with his big eyes looking off to the side with that happy face of his. SO cute. Great job again. bud.
