shoults family chapter 2: lovies and squeezies

no sooner than i had dismissed the children who were aching to be free, than they were suddenly overcome with a fierce desire to be present.  angus thought that it was cuddle time and so it was.
mudsy was called upon to do her duty and distract her grandbabies (i'm pretty sure sister pedersen would say 'grandbabies'. i said it because of her) and we got down to some lovies and squeezies.  personally i love this next series of lovies in the long grasses and wild flowers.

it's like a prayer.

when one is traveling down a sunlit path on a gorgeous summer evening with one's love, one is bound to leap into the air and click one's heels.  love is like that.

these next shots may be the happiest accident i ever had.  i was telling them to do something but then they did this and i was like, uh ye-ah.  and then i was trying to shoot it at a certain way and i accidentally did this i was all giddiyap!  basically i can't take credit.  it was the magic of the moment.  it was meant to be.

biff and her riff steaming it UP.  i added some texture to the second image.  maybe you can't see it but i know it's there, and that is what matters.

too intimate for you?  close your eyes and scroll down 2 pics.

ok, well i did some weird things to this pic.  sue me.

i just like this one because of the goofy pose and the goofy look on ben's face.

ben's idea: have bethany walk the fence with his assistance.  thanks ben!  what i like about these shots are a) bethany's red shoes, b) the waist high wild flowers and most importantly c) the looks of adoration, amusement and protection on ben's face as he looks at bethany.  i just love it when the people i love are loved in the way they deserve.

ya and my idea was jump off into ben's arms and it is no less valid.

 love.

lovies and squeezies indeed.  chapter 3 is next!

  1. there's some awesome ones here--like the ones of Ben and I and the light. and the dandelion. I really like the one you added texture to. feel free to do those types of things more offn'. however I feel betrayed by my vest. I've always believed it to be flattering, but it's so UNflattering!

  2. These. are. SO BEAUTIFUL! the one you said was like a prayer, I whole heartedly agree and I love it, and the genius close-ups of Egg and Ben! Fence-sitting ones are great as well, and lill Angy cuddling...they are all beautiful.
